Miss You All Day Long

Mr. Louise returned from Old Mr. Louise's side, coincidentally meeting Joe returning from outside. "Back."

Joe responded indifferently, "Grandpa is asleep?"

"Asleep," Mr. Louise said, "Old age isn't as strong as it used to be. There are times when it's hard to hold on."

Since Cynthia left the Louise family, it seemed that misfortune had befallen them continuously. Joe pursed his lips. "In a while, there's the charity dinner hosted by Mrs. McNamara. I'll find a way to calm his anger so that Grandpa won't have to worry."

"We all trust you, of course." Mr. Louise patted him on the shoulder with great satisfaction. "Joe, your grandfather has high expectations for you. Otherwise, he wouldn't have entrusted the Louise family to you."

Joe responded absentmindedly.

Seeing that he seemed preoccupied, Mr. Louise, thinking he was exhausted from recent busyness, said, "It's getting late. Get some rest."

"Okay." Joe replied.
