Offering Oneself

"I offer you the entire starry sky, yet I still feel that the entire starry sky is not enough for you."

Tristan's tone was very plain, as if he were stating the most ordinary thing.

A hint of a smile appeared in Cynthia's eyes. "Is this really your first time pursuing a woman?"

"Of course," Tristan replied decisively.

However, his skillful maneuvers made it difficult for Cynthia not to harbor suspicions.

Tristan on the other end of the phone seemed to sense her thoughts. In his low and mellow voice, there was a trace of a smile. "It seems like I performed well."

"Performed so well that I can't help but start to doubt," Cynthia said.

"This is far from enough."

"Hmm?"

"When Miss Shannon offers herself, then I can consider it a success."

"Then you have to keep up the good work."

"I will!"

After hanging up the phone, Cynthia was called back to the company by a phone call.
