Cynthia and her group didn't stay in Peaceville for too long. After all, now that the situation had escalated, the longer they stayed, the more attention they would attract. Excessive attention was not beneficial for Chelsa and Mrs. Lindsay.

Tristan lowered his eyes, looking at Cynthia leaning on his shoulder. His large palm gently massaged her waist. "When are you going to tell me about your high school days?"

Cynthia raised an eyebrow slightly. "Back then, I was an exemplary student—no fighting, no early romance."

Tristan remained silent, his lips curved with a hint of skepticism, clearly doubting her words.

At this moment, Cynthia's phone suddenly rang—an unfamiliar incoming call without any contacts.

Cynthia slid her fingertip across the screen to answer the call. Drake's voice came through the phone, filled with lingering anger. "Cynthia, what exactly are you up to?"

His deep voice carried a sense of unresolved anger, making Cynthia's ears buzz for a moment.
