"Are You Afraid of Me?"

During Old Mr. Quinn's days at the hospital, Cynthia had been staying at Quinn Mansion. It was already ten o'clock, and under normal circumstances, Cynthia would have been fast asleep. However, the words her grandfather spoke to her in the study today lingered in her mind, keeping sleep at bay.

Lying in bed, Cynthia tossed and turned. Suddenly, she received a message from Tristan: "Asleep?"

Turning around in bed, Cynthia propped herself up, fingers swiftly tapping on the keyboard to reply, "Not yet."

The next second, Tristan sent a photo.

No one was more familiar with the background of this photo than Cynthia. She quickly jumped out of bed, grabbed a thin shirt at random, and rushed out of the door.

In a whirlwind, almost colliding with the help carrying milk pudding, she said, "Miss, it's so late. Where are you going?"

"Just going outside for some fresh air," Cynthia replied with a casual remark, her figure already disappearing.
