Have You Forgotten the Rules I Taught You Before?!

A double entendre.

This statement referred to the shattered tea, but it also seemed to hint at Old Mr. Ford in Independent State. Everyone present could hear the underlying meaning in Old Mrs. Ford's words.

Cynthia remained silent.

Tristan mentioned earlier that there was a disagreement between Grandma and Old Mr. Ford. Grandma left on her own, but judging by her current attitude, this disagreement might not be resolved anytime soon.

"If you don't like Butux, then taste the Golden Rain I brought this time," Tristan said, signaling the help to bring it over.

Cynthia intuitively took over and brewed a pot of tea methodically. Handing the tea to the old lady, she said, "Grandma, please taste it."

"Leave these things to the people below." Old Mrs. Ford took the tea, placed it aside casually, and touched Cynthia's hand. Her tone returned to its previous warmth. "Good child, did I startle you just now?"

Cynthia smiled faintly, "I'm not an ordinary cat; I can't be easily frightened."
