Naomi didn't rush to answer; instead, she gracefully circled around and slipped into the man's embrace. "Joe, what's been going on with you lately? Why do you always seem so absent-minded?"

Joe lowered his gaze, observing Naomi's concerned expression, and felt trapped in a struggle that was hard to break free from. "I'm fine, don't worry."

"Is there something I did wrong to make you angry?" Naomi bit her lip, her eyes slightly moist, and with a pitiful look that tugged at the heartstrings, she said, "Joe, I used to think I knew you well, but now I feel like we're getting farther apart. The current you makes me feel strange and scared. I'm afraid that I might lose you at any moment."

Her hands tightly grabbed Joe's clothes, her gentle voice trembling uncontrollably, "Tell me honestly, do you regret marrying me?"
