"Shut up if you don't have money!"

When Joe heard Cynthia's voice, his heart couldn't help but tremble. At that moment, an uncontrollable excitement surged within him. Does Cynthia really care about him? Otherwise, why would she suddenly intervene?

Joe snapped out of his reverie, looking at her forced smile, his brows furrowing slightly. The inner conflict and struggle were replaced by heartache and guilt. His gaze suddenly became firm as he raised the bidding card, saying in a deep voice, "Seven million!"

"Eight million!" Cynthia persisted.
