Is This Man Allergic to Romance?

Cynthia looked up and unexpectedly met those bottomless black eyes, as if falling into a black hole, completely captivated. The man's deep pupils seemed to hold infinite tenderness, with emotions swirling deep within.

"I wish you could be even greedier, clinging to me, staying by my side all the time," Tristan said.

Cynthia raised her eyebrows. It was the first time she had heard such a presumptuous request.

"But don't men usually prefer women who are sensible and know when to advance or retreat?" Cynthia looked at the man in front of her, her almond-shaped eyes filled with contemplation. "If I clung to you all the time, you would soon get tired of me. I believe that even the closest of couples need their own space."
