Amending the Will

When Joe received Naomi's call, he was currently sitting by Old Mr. Louise's bedside, attending to him.

Seeing Naomi's call, he didn't hesitate and promptly hung up.

Since the incident, Old Mr. Louise had been deeply affected upon seeing the overwhelming scandal, causing him to faint on the spot. Fortunately, after a series of treatments, he was currently stable with no immediate danger to his life. However, since waking up, he hadn't seen anyone from the Louise family.

Joe had rushed over only after receiving Old Mr. Louise's call.

"Grandpa, have some food first," Joe offered, bringing a bowl of porridge to Old Mr. Louise's lips.

Old Mr. Louise waved his hand. "Just leave it there."

With such a major incident happening at home, he had no appetite now.

Initially dissatisfied with Naomi and Joe's engagement, Old Mr. Louise had harbored resentment. He had thought his words would be enough for Joe to understand, but things had escalated to this point.
