"It has nothing to do with you," Cynthia replied coolly, her eyes barely lifting to glance at him. A faint trace of impatience flickered in her expression. "I'll say it again, are you going to release him or not?"
"Baby, every industry has its own rules. He broke mine. If I just let him go, how will I ever make a name for myself again?" Jasper raised an eyebrow and looked at Cynthia. "Besides, he wants my life. If I release him, isn't that like letting the tiger return to the mountain?"
Cynthia frowned slightly at his words. Before coming here, Bald Eagle had only told her that Lonely Wolf had been assigned a mission to investigate Jasper, but he hadn't mentioned that Lonely Wolf was also tasked with an assassination. If Lonely Wolf truly had an assassination mission, then the situation would indeed be tricky.
After a long pause, Cynthia scrutinized him carefully, then spoke with firm resolve. "Release him, and I guarantee that he will never set foot on your turf again."
