Mebsuta walked inside jahzerah's room without knocking or announcing her presence. She saw her laying on her bed,fully adorned and beautiful.

"How disdainful jahzerah. I just announced the arrival of the new defender and you stayed back inside without joining the assembly. Mebsuta's audible voice disrupted her slumber. Her voice jerked jahzerah back to reality.

Jahzerah sighed.

Did not the meeting commence without me. Why do you disturb me now".

"I'm honestly waiting patiently for the day you will accept the reality that your time is OVER... Mebsuta thundered with frustration in her eyes.

"Do you have a problem with me mebsuta".

"Definitely not. This your nonchalancy drains you. Do you not see that you still dwell in past glory and wallow in your incompetency to defeat the vampire.

"You do not have the right to speak to me in such manner. Lest you forget that I have the power to disfigure your face.

Mebsuta did not say a word for a while. She looked straight into jahzerah's brown eyes and said.

"If you harm me in anyway, you'll suffer the consequences. The truth is hard to digest, unbelievable to believe. I advise you to accept the reality and come out of your misery and fulfill destiny.I remember like it was yesterday,how I held you in my arms. You were so little and cute. You were a baby,an innocent baby".

"Get out of my room. Leave immediately. I do not want to see your face neither do I want to ear a thing about the new defender".

She laid back on her fancy bed to continue her adventure into the past.

Mebsuta walked through the passage leading to the maidservant rooms.

She could not believe that gutsy jahzerah would Insult her.

I welcomed that child and her parent here,we celebrated them. And BOOM she's all grown up and gutsy.

"Wait!

Malchijah said from behind her.

She stopped and waited for him to reach her.

"Have you by any chance seen jahzerah today?"

"Yes, the moron is in her past again she does not want to accept the real reality.

"It's someone else's time , she should understand that".

"I think perhaps you should explain it to her". She said and continued he journey to the maidservant rooms.

The little frown on his face formed again when he entered jahzerah's room and found her sleeping.

"YAHZERAH! He thundered.

Malchijah prefered to call her name like the Hebrews.

Jahzerah woke up at once with a nasty dark look.

"Why are you here".

"The same I should ask you. Mebsuta has just announced the arrival of the new defender and you lay here in your unicorn dreams. It does not always have to be about you.

Jahzerah sighed.

"Shall I kill myself because of the new defender. Even mebsuta came here not quite long and she was talking about Alejandra. It seems like you people have forgotten how I defended this nation with my strength. You come here ranting and shouting.

"We have not forgotten. I can speak for myself,I have not forgotten how you helped us but you have to accept the reality. A new defender is coming not to replace you but to join in fighting those monsters.

"Well she has not been born and see how mebsuta worships her. How much more when she is here with us. She smiled weirdly.

Malchijah was quiet for a while. He was trying to pick his words carefully because jahzerah can be brutal.

"I think you're jealous of Alejandra. An unborn child has ceased your peace.

"No,she has not. I just chose to be away from this awful world.At least I'm better than you that was replaced shortly. Do you not crave for that position again. The position that I took away from you. Jahzerah smiled wickedly.

Her words pierced him like a rod. It sank deep into the deepest part of his heart. Yes,he craves for more years to be in power. To be that awesome figure everybody worships.

But it just came to an end without a notice and this nuisance that stood in his front takes him as a joke.

That little child of yesterday they were hoping to grow up and become something amusing. Jahzerah is quite a disappoinment to Malchijah and to mebsuta too.

He swallowed his anger and spoke.

"It is no way to talk to your elder. Come outside of your room or I shall force you. You must have seen the way we honored your arrival and we made the celebration grand,come do the same for Alejandra who I certainly know that will replace you and be far far better than you. You heard the prophecy. He laughed out loud.

Your reign has ended yahzerah.

"Over my dead body shall I give honor to alejandra.

He walked closer to her which she knew it meant danger. Malchijah could strike anytime.

Jahzerah quickly tied his hands with magic.

He was unable to move his hands. It was as though an invincible rope tied his hands to the back.

Jahzerah said a magic word to inflict pain on malchijah.

She chanted loud. She did not stop until the hex was completed.

Malchijah felt and unusual weakness in his body. His body felt heavy for him to move. He tried to walk normal but he staggered.

"What have you done to me". He managed to speak.

"I have hexed you so everyone will be busy attending to you while I go into a deep slumber for months. There are information I didn't get the other time. Make sure you don't fall to your death.

Malchijah cursed her in his mind. He managed to walk to his room. Alongside him was three maid that helped him.

Jahzerah pondered on the things she saw in the past.

There are many things she did not notice the other time she fell into her deep slumber but this time she noticed somethings about Imelda and Ted especially Imelda whose powers amazed jahzerah.

Jahzerah is powerful than Imelda no doubt but now Imelda has done something that jahzerah powers has no effect on the vampires. That too,she wanted to know about. That was perhaps why hoshe'athe replaced me with that unborn fish.

She thought and went back to sleep.
