You Were Starved to Death

There came both good news and bad news.

The good news was that grandmother still cared for him.

The bad news was that grandmother didn't recognize him anymore.

Huo Ji'an's heart was in turmoil, unsure of what to say.

Zhouzhou and he sat on the ground, playing with stones. As she saw Grandma Huo looking around anxiously but unable to recognize Huo Ji'an, she couldn't help but approach him and lightly touch his head, puzzled: "Little Skinny Pole, does your grandmother have poor eyesight?"

Huo Ji'an felt weary and didn't want to speak.

Seeing Grandma Huo still calling out Huo Ji'an's name, even considering calling the police, Zhouzhou couldn't help but sigh. Adults were really unreliable.

She stood up, clapped her hands, then took Huo Ji'an's hand and led him forward, tugging at Grandma Huo's trousers.

As she looked over, Zhouzhou pointed at Huo Ji'an and said, "Grandma Huo, does this boy look like your grandson?"
