Locked in Confinement

The two turned their heads and saw Old Brian standing outside. His eyes were fixed intently on Zhouzhou, filled with a chilling murderous intent.

Zhouzhou's fingers instinctively tightened for a moment but quickly loosened. She pretended to be frightened, hiding behind Brian Junior, and timidly said, "I... I was just asking, sorry, I didn't know I couldn't ask."

Brian Junior was also frightened, but since Zhouzhou was brought by him, he felt responsible for protecting her.

"Grandfather," he called out, "I brought my friend here to play."

"Friend?" Old Brian's gaze swept over him with clear dissatisfaction. "Do you remember what I told you?"

Brian Junior's eyes dimmed, and he muttered, "I remember. The head of the Brian family has no friends and doesn't need any."

"Mm." Old Brian nodded slightly. "Since you've made a mistake, then go to where you belong."
