The Wang Family is a Bunch of Clueless Allies

Wang Fengsong spent the entire night being interrogated in the police station's questioning room. After catching just over an hour of sleep, she was dragged back in for more questioning. It wasn't until just after noon the next day that she was finally released.

She took the bus back to the compound. Along the way, she was met with a barrage of scornful, mocking, and curious glances from the onlookers. Although Wang Fengsong felt utterly drained from the interrogation, the attention only made her quicken her pace.

Despite her clear intent to avoid any interaction, a few persistent onlookers stopped her.

"Fengsong, what's been going on with your family? You've been making quite a stir lately."

"Yeah, it sounds serious. The police came last night, right?"

Wang Fengsong pressed her lips tightly together, unwilling to utter a word. Yet, the crowd kept pressing in on her, their inquiries unrelenting.

"Sorry, I'm really tired. Can we talk later?" she replied weakly.
