You're a Good Person

With a crack, the female ghost's head fell to her shoulders. Her eyes widened, pupils protruding, her expression frozen in death. Gu Lan startled and shook her head, "No way, it can't be so easy!"

Quickly covering Hua Yin's eyes, she sternly said, "This isn't something for children to look at, they will be scared to tears. Understand?"

Hua Yin didn't answer, but his trembling lessened.

Gu Lan gazed at the decaying head still attached to its body, feeling a slight headache. She attempted to adjust the head by using her hands to pry it back into place. Alas, as they say, one cannot fix what is beyond repair, and once a ghost's head tilts, it cannot be straightened.

The ghost's head hung pitifully and helplessly to the side. Gu Lan, resembling a child afraid of being scolded for a misdeed, continued to tug and pull at the head, growing increasingly frustrated.
