Fair Treatment

As the hour of the Shen (3-5 PM) approached, Wang Pu had already gathered all the chefs and waitstaff in the restaurant.

After all, it was a four-story grand restaurant, and when all the chefs and waitstaff were assembled, there were dozens of them.

Xie Wan was not present; she sat in a private room on the third floor. All matters were left for Wang Pu to handle.

The first task was for each head chef to prepare three signature dishes—no restrictions on type or style, as long as it was their specialty.

With no MSG for instant seasoning, the key to making the dishes flavorful was to use high-quality broth. Fortunately, Xie Wan had already informed them the previous day that today's task was to train the chefs and waitstaff. Therefore, the chefs had been simmering broth since early in the morning, and it was now being put to good use.

As dish after dish was prepared, they waited in silence, yet there was no response for a long time.
