Han Chen obediently carried the two dishes out. They had prepared three dishes for dinner: stir-fried celery, blanched bok choy, and steamed fish.
Zhou Mo helped Han Chen serve the rice, then sat down herself, picked up her chopsticks, and said, "Let's eat."
Han Chen noticed that her bowl was empty. "Aren't you having dinner?"
Zhou Mo replied, "I'm on a diet."
"Why?" Han Chen looked at her with confusion. "Isn't your BMI already on the low side?"
Zhou Mo glanced at him. "And so what? As I get older, my basal metabolic rate decreases, and if I don't pay attention, fat will accumulate. Besides, I haven't found a partner yet, so I need to take good care of myself, right?"
Saying this, Zhou Mo gave Han Chen a sarcastic look. "Not everyone is like you, with excellent conditions in all aspects, making it easy to find a partner."
Han Chen smiled faintly. "Who said that? It's not easy either."
"Why is it not easy? I think Dr. Xu from your department is pretty good."
