"You're still here?" Zhou Mo was surprised.
Han Chen took the receipt from the cashier and glanced at it briefly. "It's our department's treat, so we should settle the bill."
Zhou Mo nodded. "By the way, how did my mentor meet you guys?"
Originally, today was supposed to be an internal team gathering, but Shen Qingyi turned it into a joint dinner with Han Chen's group.
"We bumped into each other at the entrance," Han Chen replied.
Zhou Mo chuckled. "What a coincidence."
"Yeah, it really was," Han Chen agreed.
He put away the receipt absentmindedly and asked, "Should I give you a ride home?"
"Huh?" Zhou Mo didn't react immediately. "No need, I'll take a taxi."
Han Chen reminded her, "Taking a taxi costs money. I can give you a free ride, giving you a chance to reconsider."
Zhou Mo promptly replied, "Deal, I choose to hitch a ride with you."
Han Chen's lips curved slightly as he casually picked up the cake box from the counter.
