Chu Jiuning turned around and saw the landlord.

“Big Brother, are you looking for me?” she asked.

The landlord smiled and shrugged. “I know about your situation, so I have a good job for you.”

“Oh? Do you want me to pick peaches again?” she joked.

The landlord shook his head. “Peaches are out of season now. Can you swim? Have you practiced holding your breath underwater?”

She frowned and thought for a moment. “Of course, I can swim. As for holding my breath, I have taken Water-Avoiding Bead before. I can stay underwater just like on the ground.”

With a proud raise of her eyebrows.

The landlord clapped his hands and laughed, “Wow, Little sister, your luck is truly extraordinary. In that case, this new job is perfect for you.”

Chu Jiuning couldn’t hide her excitement as she asked, “Big Brother, what kind of job is it exactly?” She was really looking forward to it.
