The Jiang Family's Eldest Branch Wasn't Let Off

Hu Yuezhen and Jiang Quankun seemed taken aback by the way the family division was being handled, especially since the plan was proposed by Su Xiaoxiao. They never expected things to unfold this way, and despite the seemingly fair approach Su Xiaoxiao suggested, they both felt like they were losing out.

"So, how is the old house going to be divided?" Hu Yuezhen asked.

"Of course, it'll be divided into three parts," Su Xiaoxiao replied, looking at her as if she were a fool.

However, Hu Yuezhen couldn't accept this and retorted, "You already have a large house. Why should you also take the old house?"

"We're using land that belongs to Yexun's household for the new house, and I'm paying for the construction," Su Xiaoxiao responded, her voice laced with frustration. "Your land is in the back. You've got the money now, so you can build your own house."

Hu Yuezhen and Jiang Quankun opened their mouths, but couldn't find a counterargument.
