Clang—
The sword qi whistled, and the chilling sword light flickered in an instant.
Bei Xinghan instinctively stepped forward, wielding his sword to block.
Two long swords crossed, and the distance between Bei Xinghan and Xue Qi rapidly closed.
“It’s not an illusion.”
Xue Qi’s gaze was as dazzling as a summer firefly.
Caught off guard by her gaze, Bei Xinghan’s heart unexpectedly quickened, leaving him at a loss.
Xue Qi sheathed her sword, nonchalantly saying, “If Junior Brother Bei feels overwhelmed by this suddenness, I will give you time to adapt. Let’s focus on our sword practice today.”
Xue Qi took the lead and headed towards the Sword Pavilion, her figure graceful and decisive.
Bei Xinghan stood in place for a moment before stiffly lifting his foot to catch up.
Once inside the Sword Pavilion, Bei Xinghan unconsciously avoided Xue Qi during their sword practice.
