Wanwan rested her chin on her hands, squatting beside Xia Zhihuai. She watched as he gestured with a wooden piece, inserting the wooden handle into the circular groove at the end of the hoe blade. After placing the wooden piece, he slowly hammered it into the gap, firmly securing the loose blade.

Qu Xiunan crouched nearby, observing for a while before couldn’t help but comment, “It seems quite simple to do.”

Xia Zhihuai, without lifting his head, continued repairing the second hoe and nodded slightly, “Indeed, it’s quite simple.”

Wanwan sweetly praised, “But I can’t do it. Brother, you’re amazing!”

Xia Zhihuai couldn’t help but raise his eyes and gaze at Wanwan’s curved eyebrows and eyes. He couldn’t contain his amusement and said, “Why are you so sweet-tongued today?”

Wanwan blinked and took out a candy from her pocket, unwrapping it and putting it in her mouth.

“Because I’m eating candy,” she mumbled unclearly.
