Just after Xia finishing brushing his teeth, the assistant director appeared at the entrance of the Yun family’s house and beckoned to Xia Zhihuai.
Feeling a bit confused, Xia Zhihuai put down the bowl he was preparing to serve food in and wiped the water stains off his hands. He walked to the front door and looked at the cameraman who moved the lens away, asking, “What’s the matter? Why are you looking for me?”
“Somebody is looking for you,” the assistant director assessed Xia Zhihuai for a few seconds before saying, “To be precise, he is looking for Wanwan.” “But I think you are Wanwan’s guardian, so I should inform you first,” the assistant director said without explicitly naming anyone.
Curious, Xia Zhihuai scratched his ear and asked, “Who is it? You’re making it sound so mysterious.”
“It’s a craftsman, someone you’ve met before.”
