Nanli remained expressionless.
Without hesitation, she drew her sword and sliced through Ximen Chuan's chest, adding another wound to his already battered body.
"That's right, I'm despicable and shameless; I do take advantage of others' misfortunes," she said slowly. "Do you have a problem with that?"
"Master!"
The Asura Palace members shouted, trying to rush over to protect Ximen Chuan.
But Nanli threw a Body-Freezing Talisman, rendering them immobile.
"Master?" Nanli smiled coldly. "So it really is you, the Asura Palace Master, Ximen Chuan."
She had known all along what had happened at the Spirit Mine when she set the formation.
The reason she had spent so much time searching and patrolling was because she feared the Asura Palace would come after her.
Though there had been no mention of Ximen Chuan's strength in the reports, his creation of Asura Palace and the fact that he had recruited many loyal subordinates made it clear that he wasn't weak.
