Snakes Aren't Scary

The snake-beast's movement speed was incredibly fast.

In just a short hour, he carried her over hills and through waters until they arrived at a secluded and dim cave, where he stopped.

His pale and slender palm pushed aside a tangle of vines. With one hand supporting her buttocks and the other arm around her waist, his long black snake tail slithered, carrying them both into the cave.

The cave's opening was not small; one could even say it was quite spacious, around seventy to eighty square meters in size.

Both the inside and outside were meticulously neat.

What was even more surprising was that the walls seemed to be embedded with glowing fragments, illuminating the dark corners and creating a dreamlike atmosphere.

Having rained just two days ago, the cave floor was muddy and damp. A layer of faint moss covered the corners, and a slightly damp and fishy smell permeated the air.
