Chapter 17: Danger is approaching: Part 1

Between two rocks, the angry priest stood on a boulder, addressing a large crowd of villagers who were swayed by his words. The names of Sheikh Arqan, Nasash, and Dan's name echoed in the priest's speech, and Dan listened to it with a pounding heart and a sense of impending danger...

The priest agitated the crowd, inciting them against the three with accusations of their disbelief and defiance of ancestral customs! Once the priest was certain that he had ignited their fervor and anger against the trio, he began to chant the war chant and signaled for them to follow him to the next village to incite it as well, so that there would be consensus on killing the three and avenging the humiliation inflicted upon him by Arqan!

In truth, the priest saw this opportunity to remove Sheikh Arqan from his path, leaving him as the ruler without opposition!

Dan hurried to inform his father and Sheikh Arqan of what he heard. When he arrived at his family's house, his mother told him that his father had gone to Sheikh Arqan's house. He emptied the stones from his pockets and placed them, along with those he had taken from the girls, in his bag, then set out to Sheikh Arqan's house.
