Jim whispered, "I'll go and talk to them. Don't take any action. You need to change your attitudes. They are innocent too."

A few minutes later, Lora and Marcus raised their gazes to see Jim approaching them.

Jim didn't recognize them. Lora was certain of this.

Marcus subtly took a half step forward, protecting Lora.

He raised his chin slightly and asked, "Is there something you need?"
