Chapter 10 - Go to the Clinic

l sat relaxed, stunned by Lala, who suddenly asked him to talk again as if there was something important to ask.

"A-Aannu... is there something I want to ask you?"

"What's that?"

"Is this all I have to do to suppress Dad's bleeding? Is there no problem letting it go on like this?"

According to my personal experience, having previously attended nursing training, there are several things to do when providing first aid for someone who is bleeding and one of these things is to suppress the bleeding with a cloth with a very smooth surface in order to at least suppress the bleeding which continues to come out.

This method may be a little rational, but it can be used for first aid because in the end we still need treatment from a doctor and equipment from the hospital to be able to treat it better.

suddenly I thought of something I wanted to say to Lala.

"Oh yeah, I just thought, aren't there any clinics around here?"

"At least we took him there first, even though I know the equipment there won't be as complete as the one in the hospital."

"Clinic... There is a clinic, but it is very far away, around 2 KM from here?"

Lala while looking at Nicholas.

"2 KM!"

As I got up from my seat, I carried Lala's father's body and quickly ran away from Lala.

Lala, who was very surprised to see me in a hurry to bring her father, also chased me from behind and wanted to know what I wanted to do.

Lala shouted loudly "Wait! Where are you going?"

"I want to go to some people's houses first, there's something I have to do. Can you wait here first?"

"What does he want to do there?" Lala muttered in her heart.

it was already 10 o'clock when I looked at the clock on my hand. It had been about 15 minutes since Lala's father was found covered in blood.

I immediately looked for several houses that still had the lights on. I walked past several houses, but most of the houses I saw had their lights turned off without any light at all. Either the house is no longer inhabited or the owners of the house are already sleeping or they could have gone out of town.

I immediately asked this to Lala who was walking right next to me.

"Why do all the houses around here look like they have no light at all?"

Indeed, since the last year, several residents have chosen to leave the village for the city which is very far from the village. This did not escape the belief of the village residents, because they often saw a figure wearing a black robe and the village people often called him 'Tarshora'.

"Tarshora..."

"what kind of creature is that, and besides, do the people in your village really believe in myths that are not true?"

There were reports that a middle-aged woman who lived alone on the outskirts of the village was found dead in the room where she lived and the community believed that it was the work of Tarshora herself who was hunting prey for her to sacrifice.

"From what I heard about what you said earlier, it seems like you also believe in that ridiculous thing."

"Is that a certain kind of legend or myth that the people in your village believe in?"

"It would be ridiculous to actually leave this village just because of an obscure figure like that."

Lala lowered her expression and looked down.

"At first I also thought the same as you, but over time there have been more and more cases of people being killed and there have been more and more cases of missing children that have occurred in the village recently."

"But I started to question where and who the figure behind Tarshora was."

Without paying attention to Lala's footsteps, I started to think whether it was possible that the figure that Lala and the village people were talking about had something to do with the current case of Lala father or maybe he was the real perpetrator of the stabbing of Lala's father.

Ah... The most important thing right now is that I have to keep looking. Maybe there is a house that is still inhabited. I'll find out about the culprit later.

After searching for a long time, I arrived at a house which was actually not very big, in fact it looked like an old hut with woven bamboo on the roof.

Even though I was a little doubtful at first, I didn't really care about the strange thoughts I had imagined.

Arriving in front of the door, Aki immediately knocked on the door quite quietly so as not to disturb the neighbors around him.

"Excuse me.... Excuse me....."

There was a knock on the door and I called the owner of the house several times in a voice that was a little loud but as far as possible not to be heard by the surrounding houses. Where you can see that the lights from the surrounding houses are no longer illuminated and there is no visible activity of anyone inside.

I think they're all asleep, considering it's already nighttime. It's better if I don't disturb them by making loud noises.

I knocked repeatedly on the door, but no one yet opened the door.

"Where the hell... The owner of this house, why doesn't he open the door?"

I waited a very long time but there was still no response from inside the house, I thought about walking to get to the clinic.

"By the way, Lala, where is the direction to the clinic you said earlier?"

"If you want to go to the clinic, just turn left from the bus stop and go straight until you see a sign that says Greenpeace clinic."

Lala with a facial expression full of confusion. "Why do you ask that? Eh wait... Isn't your car damaged and can't be used?"

"We can walk to get there, right?"

"Are you serious about going there?"

"Do you think I look like I'm joking?"

"But are you really going there carrying my father?"

"Don't worry, I'm not as weak as you think. I can carry your father all the way to the clinic, So we'd better get going now."

"Okay, thank you."

Without delay, the two of us immediately walked towards the nearest clinic that Lala had just mentioned.
