.....

A resounding shout echoed through the peculiar building at the end of the Rainbow Bridge, emanating from a guard clad in gleaming golden armor.

Under the guard's piercing gaze, Johnny sensed a palpable danger, his attention drawn immediately to the peculiar and expansive sword gripped tightly in the guard's hand.

It was the aura exuded by this very blade that sent shivers down Johnny's spine, signaling imminent peril.

"The key to unlocking the Rainbow Bridge, the Sword of Dawn..." Johnny muttered under his breath, his assessment swift and decisive.

Yet, a wave of relief washed over Johnny as he realized that during this era of the War, the gatekeeper of the Rainbow Bridge wasn't Heimdall, the all-seeing God of Dawn who could peer into the Nine Realms, but rather a slightly more formidable warrior hailing from the Asgard.

Had it been Heimdall himself, Johnny harbored little confidence in his ability to contend with the god at present.

Struggling to maintain his composure, Johnny halted in his tracks, the undead Specter quietly materializing beside him. As per Johnny's silent directive, the Specter stealthily approached the gatekeeper bearing the Sword of Dawn.

Upon spotting Johnny, the gatekeeper remained on high alert, yet upon observing Johnny's divine attire and sensing the faint aura of divine power emanating from him, the gatekeeper refrained from regarding Johnny as an intruder.

Empowered by this opportunity, Johnny resolved to take the risk.

With the distance between himself and the gatekeeper closing to less than fifty meters, Johnny stood motionless, deliberately entrancing the gatekeeper.

Meanwhile, the Specter moved swiftly upon receiving Johnny's unspoken command.

Fifty meters...

Forty meters...

Thirty meters...

Twenty meters...

Ten meters...

Just as the Spectre drew within ten meters of the gatekeeper, a resounding bell reverberated throughout the Asgard of Asgard, causing Johnny and the gatekeeper to tense simultaneously.

It was a signal of alarm for God's Domain, sounding only in times of crisis.

"Who are you?" The gatekeeper's initial lack of concern towards Johnny shifted as the alarm bell rang, prompting suspicion.

The Sword of Dawn hummed, its point aimed at Johnny. A strange energy surged from the blade, poised to immobilize him.

As the alarm bell echoed, Johnny cursed inwardly, sensing the approach of powerful guards from the Rainbow Bridge.

"Engage!" Johnny wasted no time, charging towards the gatekeeper, his spear gleaming with divine power.

Simultaneously, the Spectre closed in on the gatekeeper, its fingers poised like daggers aimed at his head.

Caught off guard by the Spectre's sudden assault, the gatekeeper swiftly redirected his Sword of Dawn, intercepting the Spectre's claws just in time.

The collision sent sparks flying, and the Spectre, weightless as it was, recoiled from the force, narrowly avoiding the gatekeeper's counterattack.

Though taken aback by the undead Spectre, the gatekeeper found solace in the fact that his Sword of Dawn had repelled the creature with ease.

However, just as he began to relax, a thunderous boom reverberated through the air.

A powerful blast of divine energy struck the gatekeeper's chest, detonating upon impact.

This attack, meticulously prepared by Johnny, struck with perfect timing.

The Spectre, was in perfect sync with him, every move orchestrated by his command.

As he ordered the Spectre to attack, Johnny was already primed for action, ensuring the Spectre's retreat with a stroke of his sword, a calculated maneuver to exploit the gatekeeper's momentary vulnerability.

The intention was to feign vulnerability, lulling the enemy into a false sense of security.

And this was the moment he had been waiting for!

The alarm bells of the Asgard echoed, and a pair of guards hastened towards him. He knew he had to end the skirmish swiftly and flee the Asgard.

For if he failed, only the judgement of the Asgard awaited him.

With a scream, the gatekeeper was hurled aside, his armor unable to withstand Johnny's meticulously planned strike, exploding upon impact.

Along with the armor, flesh and blood erupted from the gatekeeper's chest.

As he crashed to the ground, the gatekeeper's pallid face bore the evidence of his internal injuries, blood mingling with broken organs at his lips, his breaths growing fainter.

Observing Johnny's rapid approach, the gatekeeper's eyes betrayed a potent mix of disbelief and unwillingness. He couldn't fathom that Johnny, a mere 'commoner of the Asgard,' would strike down one of their own.

But disbelief soon gave way to fear, then resignation.

The Spectre's claws sliced across his throat, plunging the gatekeeper into darkness.

"At last!" Johnny exclaimed.

Having incapacitated the gatekeeper, Johnny dashed towards the end of the Rainbow Bridge. Within seconds, he reached the fallen gatekeeper and seized the Sword of Dawn lying nearby.

Meanwhile, a battalion of divine warriors had noticed the disturbance and were closing in on Johnny's location. In a matter of moments, they would converge upon him.

More divine warriors were fast approaching behind them.

"Fuck! Too late!" Johnny cursed inwardly. Though he now possessed the Sword of Dawn, there wasn't enough time to glean the gatekeeper's knowledge on operating the Rainbow Bridge.

With a grimace, Johnny made a split-second decision. Gripping the Sword of Dawn tightly, he plunged it into the center of the circular vault structure atop the raised platform.

Strange energy surged as the artifact pierced through, illuminating the intricate magic runes etched into the ground. The vault began to rotate rapidly.

With a subtle twist of the Sword of Dawn, Johnny accelerated the glow of the runes.

"Crack..."

The vault spun faster and faster, a luminous doorway gradually unfolding, revealing an otherworldly aura. The teleportation channel was about to open.

The only uncertainty was where this passage would lead.

"Please God anywhere but the hands of Odin or Hela!" Johnny said a silent prayer.

With resolve in his eyes, Johnny leaped into the shimmering portal as it fully materialized.
