Since all the rooms are taken by the current staff, you can stay in the store room." Said Mei na. "The store room? Don't you use that for, well, storage?" Asked Ye Muchen curiously.

"Yes...But there is another room inside the storage room that we can empty out to make a temporary bedroom for you. Because you are not sleeping on the floor." Said Mei na.

"Okay then, can you show me the room?" Asked Muchen with his hands in his hoodie pocket and bouncing around. Mei na led the way to Ye Muchen's room and opened the door. "There are just a few boxes here which can be cleared out today. As for furniture, I'll buy you that as compensation for staying in the storage room. I kind of feel bad for you." Said Mei na.

"Oh don't worry, I will make myself feel at home. So when do I start working?" Said Ye Muchen. Mei na replied, "Today."

Hearing this Muchen was shocked he was starting this early. But he couldn't complain much as he didn't have money.

"Let's go then." Said Muchen.

They went up the stairs to the ground floor and behind the check-in counter. Mei na removed the board that said "Hiring Internet Cafè Manager" . She crumpled it and threw it in the dustbin. She swiftly took out of lightbulb and told Ye Muchen to insert the bulb. "But I don't know how to-" "Turn it clockwise until it is tightly fixed." Ye Muchen got cut off by Mei na and continued to do what she said.

Muchen started spinning the light bulb clockwise faster and faster each second. After a few seconds, the light bulb was firmly fixed and Ye Muchen got off the chair he was standing on. "Now go and turn on the light. It's the switch on the bottom left." Instructed Mei na.

Ye Muchen got off the ladder he was standing on and quickly ran to turn on the light.

'Click'

A sound came from the switch and the lightbulb turned on. It lit up almost 2 rows of computers. "Good job. Now come over to the counter." Said Mei na while doing a thumbs up. Muchen walked slowly, but his long legs helped him to cover more distance.

Meanwhile, Mei na, who was a bit farther away from the counter, ran for her life with her short legs and still did not reach before her employee. After they both were behind the counter Mei na said, "This is the computer and that is where you scan the Identification Card."

"So, do I have to ask for the Identification Card?" Asked Ye Muchen curiously. "Shush, I am not finished." Said Mei na. "When a customer enters, they will come over to the counter. You will politely say, 'Hello, Mr/Ms, Good evening or afternoon or morning. Please show your Identification Card.' Continued Mei na.

"Then you take the Card and say 'Thank you' and you insert the card in this machine. After a few seconds, the information will come up on the computer. Then remove the card and give it back to him or her."

"Then you click on this app in the Taskbar. You will see these boxes. The ones that are blue are vacant and the ones red are not. Give the customer any open seat and tell them the floor and seat number." Explained Mei na.

Ye Muchen almost had a stroke hearing all this information. She spoke atleast 5 syllables per second. "Understood?" Asked Mei na. Muchen nodded his head. Just after that a customer walked in the internet cafè.

Mei na told Ye Muchen to do one customer. Muchen was nervous and smiled and nodded at her.

"Hello, ma'am, good afternoon. Please show your Identification Card." Said Ye Muchen while smiling at the customer. She handed his her Card and Muchen inserted it in the card scanning machine. As Mei na said, the information popped up on the monitor.

Muchen took out the card and gave it back to the lady. "Thank you." Said Ye Muchen while giving back her card. He opened another app and said, "Row 4, section c, seat number 3, ground floor."

The customer said a polite thank you and went away happily. "Nice. You are good at remembering things." Said Mei na. This gave a smile on Muchen's face. "What's the next thing to learn?" Asked Muchen.

"Oh well, nothing much. You do know how to wipe tables and key boards and stuff right?" Asked Mei na. "Yeah sure, I mean if there is a specific way for you to do it then teach me." Said Ye Muchen. "Ok, I guess we are all set then." Saying this Mei na felt happy and put her hands on her waist.

"So..... Should I just, you know, start working? No wait one question." Said Muchen. "Sure, anything." Said Mei na. "Do I have a 24/7 shift or morning shift or something like that.?" He asked. "Um, if you want 500 yuan as your salary then 24/7. But if you want 100 yuan then you can go with morning or night shift. Any one you like." Replied Mei na.

"Ok, I will go with the 24/7 shift. I really need money." Said Ye Muchen. Mei na agreed to this and said, "Okay, the timings for 24/7 shifts are behind the counter. Help yourself."

Muchen went behind the counter and a paper with bold, stylish writing was there. It read:

Mei na(Signed)

Ye Muchen checked his watch and it was 5 pm. Which meant he has to fix light bulbs and other stuff. He put down the paper and started walking around. After a few minutes, he found a bulb flickering. He quickly ran back and got a spare bulb and a ladder to climb on.

He again ran back to the flickering light and set down the ladder. He climbed on it and removed the old bulb, and inserted the new one and spinned it clockwise like a professional. He fixed it, got off the ladder, ran back to the switch, turned the light on and put the ladder back in it's place.

Everything seemed to go smoothly. Suddenly, Ye Muchen had a doubt. He ran over to Mei na and asked, "Can I play on the computers if I have no work to do?" Mei na nodded her head. Muchen ran over to the computers and turned on Legend of Ace which was directly in the Taskbar.

Ye Muchen had specifically chosen the computer on the second floor corner as no one sat there because it was very hot in that corner.
