Star-like key?

"What's happening?" Panicked and pained screams filled the air as they saw the horrifying scene of reddish goo filling the bridge on which they walked. They felt a wave of fear and terror as they realized they were facing a fate worse than death.

"It's the plants, everyone, stay away from the plants!" A man from the Zenith faction shouted, as he tried to warn the others. He felt a guilt, as he realized he was partly responsible for this disaster.

Logan was horrified seeing the scene before him, he wondered what would have happened if he had touched the flower, but he couldn't ponder on his thoughts as they all heard a strange sound.

"Kikiki" The strange sound was heard as everyone turned to look at the source of the sound. It sounded like a mocking laughter, as if someone was enjoying their misery.
