Not Meant To Be

"Ahhh! This guy is truly a fool!" The guy said loudly as he followed after, entering the forest and licking his lips. The other guy followed after with a slight smile, gracing his face.

Surprisingly, following the part he took, they couldn't find a trace of him.

Alex stood atop a tree, watching both of them standing for a moment before walking deeper into the forest.

"These guys... what are they up to, I think they have been following me around for a long time." Gently moving across, he followed after them, a plan slowly forming in his head.

Alex finally came out from the opposite side, "Looking for me?" He asked with a mocking smile as he stepped forward.

"He came to us by himself," the drunk one said with a chuckle, looking over at his companion before staggering forward.

"Running away would only make this harder for me later on, I need to show them not to mess with me," he thought, clenching his fist. He had recognised them across the streets and noticed they had been following him.

Alex, without wasting time, kicked off the ground, heading towards the drunken one.

"Grey! Look out!" The guy at the back shouted as he charged forward.

Alex, making use of his Crane's footwork, twisted with agility, avoiding Grey and towards the other one coming at him.

Caught off guard. The other guy could only raise his hand, blocking the punch heading straight to his face. He took two steps backwards with a shocked expression.

"This guy! Such strength," he thought, gritting his teeth. He could feel his hand grow numb for a moment and, with his other hand, blocked the kick coming towards him. Alex twisted his body and performed an axe kick, which landed on the side of his head.

Staggering backwards, he shook his head and stared forward. "Huh? Where did he go?" From his back, Alex appeared kicking with full force and sending him skidding across the ground.

"This guy hasn't form his dantian, yet he's able to do this," he thought as he struggled to stand up but felt a leg stomping at his back with force sending him down to the ground.

"Stay still!" Alex said as he charged towards the drunken guy.

"Hahaha! That's good, come at me." Grey said loudly, staggering forward. With a flash, he threw the bottle he was holding towards Alex, who blocked by crossing his hands in an x shape.

Dropping his hand, the guy was nowhere to be found. Straining his ears, he felt some movements over the trees. "Huh?" Jumping backwards, he avoided the kick aimed at his head with just the skin of the breath.

Alex charged forward, throwing his clenched fists one after the other. Grey blocked the punch with a smile and, with one heavy huff, threw out his large fist, sending Alex hurtling back.

"Your punches are good but lack in comparison to mine, which is filled with the qi of a first layered dantian!" Charging forward, he kicked out, sending Alex down the ground.

Getting off quickly, Alex maintained his footwork and was alert. "This guy... I thought the other one would be the tough one, but I was wrong." He thought with a frown.

'What does he mean about a 'first layered dantian'. Alex readied himself as he charged forward, moving from side to side.

"That won't work on me?" Grey said out loud with a confident smirk. Finally, Alex had struck hitting him across his stomach, and he noticed his punch had done little damage.

Jumping backwards, he avoided his fist, which smashed to the ground, causing dust to rise.

Grey charged forward, taking an offensive approach and throwing out a flurry of punches, which Alex blocked. Although with his upgraded body, he still felt pain from some punches, which slipped through his guard.

"You've have quite the strong body, but that won't save you from my monstrous strength," the guy said. Alex focused fully, dodging and twisting his body in unexpected angles, and finally, after some minutes of statement, he started to get attuned with Grey's movement.

The battle got intense as Alex matched each punch, and he could feel a warm energy building up within him.

"Arghhh!" Grey shouted as he threw a punch that had hit Alex squarely on his chest. Surprisingly, Alex felt next to no pain. Instead, he could feel the built-up energy exploded within, filling his body with energy. He could feel his bones and muscle undergoing changes, slightly disrupting him.

Alex was getting pummeled as the pain within made him unable to fight back. "ARGGGHH!" He let out a scream as he punched forward, channelling the energy into his fist.

Grey's face scrunched up, feeling the strength from the punch. His legs lifted off the ground as he fell down with a loud thud.

"I did it!" Alex thought with a smile. His body had gone through a great change due to the iron body technique.

Looking behind him, he could see the other guy beginning to get back to his feet. 'I need to end this quickly,' he thought as he charged forward, launching a barrage of strikes from both the left and right, each blow connecting without giving Grey a moment's respite.

Grey was getting overwhelmed, "His strength is higher than before," he thought as a fist collided on his face, sending him to the ground.

Alex looked at his sides and saw the other guy rushing towards him, holding a deadly blade. Alex twisted his hips and waited for the right moment, swinging his foot.

"Ughhh," the guy groaned, collapsing to the ground. "Next time, you listen to what I say," Alex said with a deadly glint in his eyes. Raising his leg up, he stomped down on the guy's leg.

"Arghhhh! My leg!" The guy groaned as his leg had been completely shattered with blood gushing out.

"This... this is a message to your gang," Alex said, as he moved towards his other leg, repeating the same thing.

"Arghhhhh! Please, I'm sorry!" He pleaded as Alex walked to his front. Squatting to his face, "The next time you come close to me, I'll break your f*cking neck!" Alex hitting his head hard.

Walking towards Grey, who had already passed out, he was about to stomp on his hands, " This... these are Qi pills!" He exclaimed as he picked up the pills on the ground.

"It might have fell off him during the fight,"Alex thought as he kept it in his pocket. "Thank you, I'll make sure I use it well," he said with a slight smile, walking away from the area.

He quickly headed back to the hut with excitement, and without wasting time sat under the large tree in the field, and brought out the pills.

"With this, I can now finally form my dantian!" Taking a lotus position, he slowly put two of the pills into his mouth. 'Not meant to be a warrior, huh?'

'I'll prove you wrong!'
