"I think we have an insider among us," Fen said. "By the lingering mana in the area, I believe it hasn't been long since they left."

Fen was quite sensitive to mana, as a high ranking mage, he was able to detect the use of mana in a place.

"So... I guess it has been decided then, we call off the event," Garvin said, stepping forward.

"No, calling off the event will lead to suspicion from the students. Some will begin to feel that we aren't able to protect their lives and might drop out." Fen said with a frown.

"That's more reason we should call it off, we don't know what they are upto," Garvin said.

"Are you forgetting our reason for coming here? News of missing people have been occurring in the town. This was once a thriving city, now look at how it is now." Fen said.

"I guess the Crimson fang were up to something."
