He had awakened his powers in an unforeseen circumstance and realised that with this power, he could finally achieve his goals.

Dark Age: Rise Of The Blood Warlock

Alex was heading back to the room with Darius walking beside him. He was quite alerted, gripping his weapon tightly.

Alex, too tired to say anything, immediately crashed on the couch as soon as they got to the room, sleeping instantly.

In the darkness, several figures had surrounded the building with masks covering the lower half of their faces.

"Alright, remember the plan," the leader said walking towards the door and lifting his legs back he slammed it right on the door, splitting it apart.

The sound had woken the sleepy Alex with Darius immediately acting up. Raising his sword high, a large amount of Qi energy was building up, brightening the room for a moment.

Kicking off the ground, he swung down, leaving a trail of destruction. The guy at the door quickly raised his hands with its skin hardening. A loud clang was heard along with a powerful explosion that sent the invader crashing outside.
