Half of the crowd was already out of the arena leaving a few left along with the guards who were facing the intruders. The high ranking families had long left, leaving a few of their warriors to defend.

The students from the academies had joined the battle trying their best to hold back the intruders and protect the people.

At the stands, Astoria stood tall with wisps of light energy dancing around her fingers.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Garvin asked calmly, walking forward.

Stretching her hands out, she released separate beams of energy from her fingertips right at him. "Does that answer your question," she said, staring at him.

"Don't say I didn't warn you," Garvin said, appearing behind her, and then swung his hands, hitting her and sending her crashing through the seats.

"Ughhh," Astoria groaned, getting off the ground. Just then, Garvin appeared before her swinging his legs down.
