Tension At Work

The morning at work was tense and abnormal between Orfila and Ralph. She felt like she was always nervous around him, not knowing what to say or do. She wished she could avoid him, but with the nature of her job, that was practically impossible. 

She wanted him to shout at her or say something, but he gave her the silent treatment and only spoke to her only when necessary.

As the hours went by, the strain between them developed, until it was practically insufferable. Orfila didn't have any idea how much longer she could take it. After that day he overheard my phone call with Ash, he rarely looked at her. 

Orfila was sad. Her work life and personal life was beginning to weigh on her. Cain on the other hand, asked her out which she is yet to give an answer to. There is also the issue of seeing ghosts in her house which she agreed must be stressed since there is no such thing as ghosts.
