Coral finished wearing her uniform, glancing at Felix with a soft smile. She bent down to his level, her large blue eyes serious but affectionate. "Felix, listen up," she said with a dramatic tone, trying to make it clear that she meant business. "Don't roam around, okay? I'm leaving you here. Stay hidden, alright?"
Felix's eyes widened, and his little heart seemed to sink. "Meow, meow! Don't leave me here all alone! Who's going to bring me food and water?" he cried, looking up at her with those pitiful, pleading eyes, as if he were the most neglected cat in the world.
Coral sighed, her resolve crumbling instantly. "Okay, okay," she said, rolling her eyes but feeling her heart soften. "Look, I'll leave my bag here for now, and once I'm done with breakfast, I'll sneak something up for you again. But you have to promise to stay put and not get into trouble."
