The story follows Li Chen, a 23-year-old college student who tragically dies after being hit by a truck on the last day of college.

However, he finds himself reincarnated in a fantastical world where he takes on the identity of another Li Chen, a 23-year-old from the Li clan who was seen as worthless for lacking a system. 

Through a twist of fate, he gains a late summoning and acquires a system spirit, unlocking a dormant power within him known as the divine cooking system. 

With this new system, he sets off on a journey that initially seems simple but gradually reveals itself to be a daunting responsibility that he must bear.

Inside Wang Wei's manor, Wang Wei was meeting with a man whose face was half-hidden by a mask. It was Whispering Blade.

"You said you're almost done with the task?" Whispering Blade inquired.

"Yes, it should be completed within a week or so," Wang Wei responded, kneeling before Whispering Blade, who sat calmly on an elaborate chair in the center of the room.

"Very good," Whispering Blade said, his voice composed. "My master was considering replacing you in a week, but it seems you have managed to succeed."

Wang Wei felt a chill run down his spine upon hearing this. He was thankful that he had been able to come up with a way to complete the task given to him by Whispering Blade.

"Regarding your plan, how certain are you that it will be successful?" Whispering Blade asked.

"I am highly confident that it will unfold exactly as I have devised it," Wang Wei replied with conviction.
