The story follows Li Chen, a 23-year-old college student who tragically dies after being hit by a truck on the last day of college.

However, he finds himself reincarnated in a fantastical world where he takes on the identity of another Li Chen, a 23-year-old from the Li clan who was seen as worthless for lacking a system. 

Through a twist of fate, he gains a late summoning and acquires a system spirit, unlocking a dormant power within him known as the divine cooking system. 

With this new system, he sets off on a journey that initially seems simple but gradually reveals itself to be a daunting responsibility that he must bear.

Upon seeing this, Wang Wei couldn't help but shiver. The fact that Whispering Blade had appeared in front of him just moments after Yao Liang had left could mean that he had been there the entire time, listening to their conversation.

Wang Wei knew how skilled Whispering Blade was at concealment. If the man didn't want to be seen, even Wang Wei's best efforts wouldn't be able to detect him.

Knowing this, Wang Wei realized there was no point in lying, as it would only anger Whispering Blade further.

"It's a minor issue, nothing to be concerned about. It didn't affect the main plan," Wang Wei said.
