muffled sound penetrates the air waking her up

The unmistakable clatter of something falling quickly followed it

She turns around but didn't find Scott.

She gently followed the sound and it led her to one of the study rooms in Scott's mansion

She slowly open the door peeping into the dimly lit room

A tall man stood with his back facing the door while another was hanging in the air begging for mercy

Her eyes widen in shock at the sight,

The man standing flip his hands and the man set flying hiting himself on the wall before landing on the floor

Hazel felt to her feet sobing quietly , shaking profoundly.

The mans face finally came to light .

Her neighbors best friends eyes are wide open staring directly at her through the small opening at the door

Hazel sat frozen at a spot unable to say a word or move

The tall man turn around and his eyes shine bright in the dark,

Memories of the day she was kidnapped came rushing and before her stood thesame man who rescued her

The same man who scattered a human into pieces

Scott.....

Her lips trembles as the name left her mouth

His eyes shine brighter illuminating lightening

Hazel covers her mouth horrified as she sees her neighbors friend Falling into a pool of his own blood

With his body part scattered everywhere

Hazel stands up closing the door gently

She steps back to fast and her hand accidentally brushes the doorknob making a slight sound.

Frozen by fear her legs suddenly refuse to move

The study door swings open closing behind Scott,

She stood they with her mouth hanging as his eyes changes from blood red to a brighter shade of gray

He called

She stumbles back ward and felt to the floor

"You...are ...a mon..ster

She crawl on the cold floor trying to get away from him

I can explain he said as tears ran down his cheeks

"That man was going to hurt you

" what are saying,

I saw you with my own eyes slaughtering this men into pieces

You are Evil

Her words greatly affected him

He went down on his kneels crawling towards her but she pulls backward in fear

" your neighbor and his friend are the ones who kidnapped and tried raping you

He tried explaining but Hazel wasn't listening as she continued crawling away

Emily ran towards her panting heavily

" my lady are you Alright.

"Emi he is a monster

We need to get away from him

Emily move away from her and went towards Scott trying to comfort him

"Emi...

She cried widening her eyes in shock.

Hazel stood up and runs out of the mansion.

Scott shove her hands away

" go to Hazel

He squise his chest, her departure is cursing him great pain and if she doesn't stop he might die.

"You need to stay by herself to comfort her

Despite the pains he was feeling his only concern was her safety.

Emily runs after her reluctantly finally catching up with her at the gate,

"My Lady please listen to me

She said as tears continue flowing from her eyes

" stay away from me.

I can't believe you lied to me.

How can you betray me this much,

you were like a sister to me,

it was my mistake for accepting strangers as my family

" you can't leave he will die.

"If that is his punishment for killing all those innocent people then let him die

Before Emily could say another word she turn and bold out of the building into the pouring rain

She came to a halt at the place where it all started.

She looks at the bench Scott was sitting that night.

Falling to the ground she cried her heart out

Cursing the day they ever met

Scott on the other hand cried and crawl on the floor as the pain in his chest seems to intensify.

If she doesn't stop then he will certainly die.

Emily cried holding him down.

" I want her to reject me so that she can live her normal life.

He smiled as the pain increase.

It only proves she is letting go

Scott anticipating for her to say the words

His smile faded when he notice the pain was gradually subsiding.

He laid still as tears roll down his face 😭.

Hazel knocks the door to her apartment after sitting out for hours and in no time the door swings open

Lila opens her mouth in shock as she saw how drained she was from the rain

She led her inside and quickly brought her a towel

"You need to change or you will catch a cold

Lila said with genuine concern

Hazel went into the bathroom and came back all dressed up.

SHe hasn't spoken a word since she got home.

Lila not wanting to force her to speak just holds her Slightly tapping her back.

Hazel said as fresh tears started rolling down.

"He betrayed me lil,

They both lied to me

Lila embrace her trying to stop herself from crying.

"I won't force you if you don't want to talk about it

Lila said being the understanding friend she has always being

"What i know is that you are stronger than this.

Lila's words really comforted her and they both felt asleep without knowing.
