Months had passed since Ginah started university, and she had quickly become one of the most popular girls on campus. She was known for her beauty, her intelligence, and her outgoing personality. She had made a lot of friends, and was always attending university activities and events. She was a volunteer at the student union, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Despite her busy schedule, Ginah had barely talked to Miya since they ran into each other on campus. She had tried to avoid her, not wanting to rekindle any feelings that she thought she had left behind. But as she was walking across campus one day, she stumbled upon a scene that made her heart skip a beat.
Miya was standing in the middle of the quad, arguing with a guy who looked like he was trying to break up with her. Ginah recognized the guy as Miya's boyfriend, who she had met a few times before. He was a tall, muscular guy with a charming smile, but as Ginah watched him yelling at Miya, she could see the anger and contempt in his eyes.
Miya, on the other hand, looked desperate. She was crying and pleading with her boyfriend to stay, but he was having none of it. Ginah could see the pain and sadness in her eyes, and she knew she had to do something.
Without hesitation, Ginah ran towards the couple, her heart pounding in her chest. "Hey, what's going on here?" she demanded, her voice firm and authoritative.
The boyfriend turned to her, a sneer on his face. "Mind your own business," he said, but Ginah stood her ground.
"I'm making it my business," she said, her eyes flashing with anger. "You're not going to treat her like that and get away with it."
The boyfriend took a step back, clearly intimidated by Ginah's confidence and determination. "Fine, I'm out of here," he said, and he turned and walked away, leaving Miya in tears.
Ginah quickly ran to Miya's side, putting her arms around her and holding her close. "It's okay, I'm here," she said, trying to comfort her. "You don't deserve to be treated like that. You're an amazing person, and you deserve so much better."
Miya cried for a long time, but eventually she started to calm down. Ginah held her close, stroking her hair and whispering words of comfort in her ear. As they stood there, Ginah couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment. She had always wanted to protect Miya, to take care of her, and now she had the chance.
Over the next few days, Ginah visited Miya at her dorm, bringing her food and drinks, and just listening to her talk. Miya was still hurting from the breakup, but with Ginah's help, she was starting to heal. And as they spent more time together, Ginah couldn't help but feel her feelings for Miya coming back to the surface.
She tried to push them away, to focus on being a good friend to Miya, but she couldn't deny the way she felt. She was happy to be there for Miya, to support her and comfort her, and she knew that she would do anything to make her happy.
As they sat on Miya's bed, watching a movie and eating popcorn, Ginah felt a sense of contentment wash over her. She was exactly where she was meant to be, and she knew that she would do anything to stay there.
