Takei adjusted his eyes. His eyes could form dark particles into yellow light. But not as clear as they were before. His eyes were damaged now and he had to constantly adjust his eyes to firm images in the darkness. He was not the only one to form light in the darkness. There were other people who could do the same. Not necessarily yellow, but other colours as well. The planet was covered in darkness. Pitch black, there was no moonlight even. By now majority of the planet had died. Only the strong and brave have survived. Even their lives were hard and tough. They needed to hunt and were being hunted.

"Takei," shouted a voice.

Takei could see it was Arasmus. He started to run. Arasmus was the strongest in the lands. Arasmus chased him.

"I will cut your limbs off," he uttered and chased Takei. Takei ran as fast as he could but still not evade Arasmus. He caught up to him.

"Don't act like you are weak," shouted Arasmus as he ignited his aura turning blue.

"I don't know what you are talking about," said Takei, and became an aura of yellow. Both of them shone under the darkness.

"Take your sword out," he said to Takei. Takei hesitated. Arasmus took his Katana out. Blazing blue. Takei had no choice. He took his sword out, blazing yellow. A battle was set to ensue.

"Stop!" said Tiberian.

The Viking samurai. He sat on the pavement with a purple aura around him.

They looked at him.

"Why?" they asked him.

"The vampires are there," he said sitting like a man from a royal lineage. Their auras withdrew and so did Tiberians. The vampires were powerful creatures who mutated in the darkness. No one else was equal to their strength. Everyone ran and wished they did not hunt them, that is the best anyone could hope for.

The three of them hid themselves waiting for the vampires to pass. There was absolute silence as a hoard of vampires flew across the pathway. For some strange reason, they followed a certain path and never deviated from it. As long as they do not cross their path they are not slain. But if you crossed their path, you would not last another second in the world.

"Let us go," said Tiberian to them. Once they had gone. The three of them walked away from their hiding spot.

"Why are you two fighting each other?" asked Tiberian.

"I don't know," replied Asimov.

"Are we not supposed to attack and hunt each other," asked Asimov. Tiberian laughed.

"That is the most foolish thing I have heard," said Tiberian.

"Are you cannibals," asked Tiberian.

"No!" They replied simply disgusted by a thought or perhaps a memory.

"Then what is point of killing each other," he asked.

"Do you have gold?" he asked them.

"No," they replied as though they had been asked a forbidden question.

"In fact we should group with each other and hunt the vampires,"' said Tiberian.

"Hunt the vampires ," laughed the both of them.

"No one has ever hunted the vampires," said Asimov.

"I have," said Tiberian!

"You have?" asked Takei.
