Hounds

There were no demons now, but there did roam a night demon in these parts and he was a horrendous and treacherous creature. He was called Kilmontor, the night demona nd he had a dozen hounds with him. He could not enter the house as Damascus had put a spell on it keeping the demons and evil spirits out. Today, like every other night. He taunted them.

"I see you have guests, there," he shouted. "Nice, juicy guests," he taunted them again and again. This angered the brothers but Tiberian kept his cool. "Do we go and kill him?" asked Takei. He hated demons and despised them with vengeance. Ever since he saw what the face plucker demon was capable of, Takei wanted to wipe them off the planet.

"Yes," said Arasmus who too hated the demons but not in a way, his brother hated them. "The last of their kind," he said to Tiberian. They needed his approval because to was his house. If it was in a neutral setting, the brothers would have gone for his head and heart already.

"It is not so simple," said Tiberian. " I have tried to do so, as did Damascus," he uttered in dismay.

"Yes, Damascus. He is a spell caster. One of the last few left in this world," said Tiberian.

"A spell-caster?" gasped both Aridien and Takei.

"Even he was helpless against Kilmontor and the hounds," said Tiberian.

Takei looked at Tiberian with fierceness and tenacity.

"There are four of us now. We can defeat him," he said to Tiberian.

Tiberian looked at him and gave it a serious thought!
