****Darkness
Thick darkness, covered everywhere
"Hello, hello, is anyone here?", a woman calls out but there was no answer
"Hello, hello?" she calls out but still no answer
Suddenly a white light is seen
She starts walking towards it
the light gets bigger and brighter
She then stops as she sees someone come out from the white light
"Diwne ,Diwne", a female voice cries out
"Diwne, help me Diwne" she cries out again
"Who are you" Mrs Diwne says trying to see the woman from the white light clearly
"Diwne!!", the voice gets louder
"Help me, please help me", the voice says
Mrs. Diwne looks and she still sees no one
she walks further into the light
then a familiar face shows
"Diwne, don't abandon my son",the voice begs
"He is my son, don't abandon him", the voice begs again
"Who are you", Mrs. Diwne asks
The face then becomes clearer
"Mercy", Mrs Diwne says and gasps
" Shh, just find him", Mercy tells Mrs. Diwne
"Look", Mercy says, she turns left and points to a mirror
"Ah, James" she says and covers her mouth
"Please don't let them kill my son, he's special", Mercy begs
"Please promise me you would not abandon my son", Mercy says and grabs Mrs. Diwne's arm
"Promise me, promise me, promise me", Mercy continues, her voice gets louder, her grip becomes stronger.****
Mrs. Diwne wakes up
"Ah", she says while panting
The old woman walk to Mrs. Diwne who was on a bed which is well, not visible...
"Relax", the old woman says to calm Mrs. Diwne who is looking at the floor
"Relax, her spirit has been restless since they took her son", the old woman finishes.
Mrs. Diwne on hearing this shifts her eyes from the floor to the the old woman
"Who took her son, who took James, how did they.. I mean is he ok, how can we..???, Mrs. Diwne questions the old woman
"Enough of your questions !!", the old woman warns her
The old woman then walks to a pink table and picks up a very small box and walks back to where Mrs. Diwne was
"Now the place I will take you to, I will need you to not see with your eyes", the old woman tells Mrs Diwne
"Okay..., so if i don't see with my eyes, then how will I see", confused Mrs. Diwne asks
"You will see, but not with your eyes" the old woman tells Mrs. Diwne again
Mrs. Diwne is still confused, what did this old woman mean, she wondered...
The the old woman then opens the small box and gives her something that looks like contact lens
But then it was black , it was definetely a strange one.
Mrs. Diwne looked at it for a while, then she sighed.
She was worried for her eyes, but she just had to trust the old woman, because there was no other one who knew where James was.
She put on the contacts
"I can not see", Mrs. Diwne says
"Shhh, you can not see because you are still relying on your own eyes!", the old woman shouts
"Don't rely on your eyes and you shall see", the old woman instructs
Mrs. Diwne is still very confused
The old woman sighs
"Humans", the old woman says in annoyance seeing how lost Mrs. Diwne is
"Say this; I denounce the eyes now that I may see, let me see but not with my eyes" the old woman says
Mrs. Diwne says this and suddenly...
She sees everything
The room which she thought was dark and empty was white and completely furnished and absolutely pleasing to the eye.
As confusing as it may seem, she realised, now she that she did not see with her eyes, she actually started to see
"So now you can see", then old woman says to Mrs. Diwne and then smiles
"Yes, I can actually see everything", excited Mrs. Diwne replies.
She goes and touches the chair which she had earlier sat down on
"The chair, wow", Mrs. Diwne says and puts her hands on her face
The old woman laughs at her ridiculous reaction
"Humans", the old woman says and shakes her head and then walks to a green and Mrs. Diwne follows
"Wow, so there was a green door", the still excited Mrs. Diwne says
"Quiet woman!", the old woman who has had enough of her amusement says
She opens a green door and steps into what looks like a forest.
It seemed as if it was raining but the water did not touch them or make them wet...
it rather felt like an illusion.
Mrs. Diwne was astonished
"How did...", Mrs. Diwne tried to ask
"Silence!", the old woman says
"No questions!", she commands
Mrs. Diwne touches her mouth immediately and then rolls her eyes
They started walking, and though it looked like the branches were obstructing them , it still appeared to be an illusion as they walked through it
Even when animals would look like they were coming close to them, the animals walked pass as if they were not there.
Mrs. Diwne felt the urge to ask questions but she knew the next thing was, 'silence'
She just followed like an obedient dog
"Help", a voice of a girl cries out
"Please help my dad, please somebody," she keeps shouting
The old woman ignores the voice and keeps walking but Mrs. Diwne stood there trying to deduce where the voice was coming from.
"Didn't you hear that, someone needs help, we have to help her, please", Mrs Diwne begs the old woman,
"Woman, we do not have time", the old woman turns to tell her and keeps going
"Please", Mrs. Diwne begs again
The old woman obliges and walks to where the voice came from
She then sees a young girl with dark hair on the ground ,holding a man who was currently not moving
She looks at the man and examines him
"He has been bitten by a venomous snake, and it looks like the venom has eaten deep into his entire body, I don't think he would survive this dear." Mrs. Diwne tells the young girl who was crying uncontrollably.
The old woman says nothing her eyes focused on the sky
The girl then looks at the old woman and recognizes her
"Please help me", the girl says to the old woman
The old woman then looks at the girl on the floor, but she still does not say a word
"I'm sorry for not listening to you, please help me", the girl further says
The old woman then laughs
"But I warned you, humans and their curiosity, why did you use enter that door", the old woman asks
"I'm sorry, we thought it was a trick, please help my father", the girl explains and begs the old woman even more
The old woman moves closer to the man and looks at him
"He is not yours to keep, he is with me, now leave this body and return no more", she commands
Immediately, a black worm-like thing crawls out from his neck
The girl and Mrs. Diwne are astonished
The man gets up and dust his clothes
"Dad", the girl says and hugs her dad
"I thought I lost you dad", the girl says to her dad
"Marrisa, I love you so much", her dad tells her and pecks her on her cheeks
"Enough, we have to go", the old woman says and cuts the family reunion
"Wait, Mrs. Diwne says
"How far is this place we are going", Mrs. Diwne asks
"Far, we are not going far", the old woman replies her
"There, that little house you see there, that is where we are going to", the old woman adds
"But that looks somehow like a hut", Marissa tell the old woman
"Good", the old woman says and they ball look a her
"Let us go", the old woman says ignoring their stares
Few minutes later, a spirit appears before her
"Save my son, save my son, save my son", the spirit cries out
"If you keep disturbing us, we would never save your son, James is fine, i have promised you i will take care of him" the old woman says assuring the spirit
Then the spirit disappears
"Why did you talk as though you know James personally", Mrs. Diwne asks the old woman
The old woman ignores her and starts walking, they all follow.
It was getting dark, and the old woman saw that they needed to rest
"Let us rest here for a while", the old woman say and sits on the sand
"Yes, finally", Marissa says and stretches before sitting on the ground as well
"Yh, I'm a bit tired", her father says and then sits on the ground as well
Mrs. Diwne says nothing as she was still bothered by what had happened earlier
"Ma, please you did not answer my question, do you know James personally, or Mercy, his mother ?",Mrs. Diwne ask the old woman who was currently pretending to be asleep
"And you young girl, how did you end up here with your father", Mrs. Diwne asks Marrisa
"We found him in front of our shop, he seemed to have run away from home", Marissa answers before the old woman
"So we took him in as one of our own", her father finishes
"Thank you for taking care of him", Mrs. Diwne thanks Marrisa and her dad.
They respond with a wide smile
Mrs. Diwne then looks at the old woman
"What about you, how did you know James?", Mrs. Diwne asks the old woman
"I", the old lady says
"I unwrapped his eyes...", the old lady finishes
