54. SIREN'S ATTACK

Rolling her eyes she swam to another shore. Her tail weaving like a thread in the sea. She felt the calmness seeping into her bones before she realised why was she out here, gasping out of the water she miraculously turned her tail into her feet and thrashed to the shore.

"I see, you are the so called black tailed mermaid." Mr. Hudson's voice hit her ears making her snap her eyes at him. Her blue orbs turned darker as she glared at him.

"I am not a mermaid." She seethed standing up on the hot beach sand.

"The little mermaid knows to lie to, excellent." He kissed the words with a menacing smile. His black eyes were dark and they glare right through her soul. Those black eyes reminded him Denzel. But, Denzel's weren't that dark, sure, he has pitch black eyes. But his father's eyes were like a looming shadow lurking behind her like a danger. Something about his eyes told her not to turn her back to him.
