Tessa pov

It was Friday morning when I woke up in my room and the time was already 8:15 which I didn't find surprising with my gram's always pushing me to go out more often, when ever I would try to protest or rather tell her I will be busy this year in school; she would always respond with that was your excuse when you got into school and all through your stay in the school, and how she wouldn't take that anymore while saying

** come up with a better excuse young woman ** which only makes me more pestered by her act.

Well gram's is a funny woman who like living live to the extreme even Dad knows which makes him restrain me from see her most of the time, but I love her cause she's fun and always have both funny and crazy stories to tell me which always lightens my mood; she even goes as far as organizing my wardrobe for me cause she wants me to find a boyfriend which I keep refusing, I mean I want to live my life like an ordinary girl but I just felt like I'm not ordinary no matter how hard I tried which I've told gram's and she would always say it's in my head.

I kinda feel this way cause I was ten when I witnessed mom and Dad got a divorce which crashed my world entirely, I mean I wanted them to stay together even if I couldn't understand why they got a divorce in the first place even till now cause Dad was never around, he only used to come around once in a while after the divorce I barely see him; though mom she's always there asking me to come over to meet up with her which I just don't know why I kept running from the call.

Soon we had our breakfast and gram's pulled me out for a shopping which she always did whenever I'm about to leave for school which is by Monday, I got out with her on a shopping at a mall which I thought was only for clothes and foodstuffs or drinks; which turn out to be men shopping she started showing me lots of guys passing while some kept winking at me which made my grams and I laugh, I did enjoy my time with gram's though cause even though she showed me a lot of guys she didn't pressure me into approaching any of them but left it like that.

I guess she knew that the divorce between mom and dad still had an impact on me which made her did her very best to try cheer me up, well I got home from the resort which gram's and I went too after which I left for my room to shower and returned towards her cause it was our regular schedule drink night, which I enjoyed more than anything else in the entire world; well we do have alcohol since I'm already an adult with wines and some champagne which she accompanies with a lot of stories about grandpa which you could say even if she leave her life to the extreme she still missed him.

We carried on till one in the morning which I found very surprising though cause we usually stay up till twelve, I kissed her good night while she kissed my forehead after which I left for my room; I got there and saw I got a message from mom ** how's my baby girl** which I responded too and she started chatting with me, I guess I wasn't in the mood to talk now so I texted her ** gotta sleep now mom ** and she sent a kiss emoji to me after which I tried calling dad but he never answered while I dropped my phone and went for bed.
