chapter twelve

Harper pov

I woke up the next day to a stream of texts and even a missed call from him; which made me stared at my phone for a while after which I responded to his texts saying

** Good morning ** which he saw as soon as I sent it, and texted me back which I didn't replied to instantly but rather I thought that this was stupid cause he knew a lot about me while I don't know as little as his name, which made me asked him about it and I never knew I was very adamant on him answering me or never speak to me again.

And he did tell me which made me smile crazily like an idiot and Racquel walked into my room all dressed up and ready for class, while I screamed at my self for getting carried away by my own thoughts and forgetting about class; which made Racquel laugh at me while I ran into the bathroom to get myself ready, I came out of my room a while later whilst apologizing to Racquel for making her late along with me which made her asked me what was that about.

She asked me along the way to class which I told her about and she paused on our way; I turned towards her and asked her what happened and why she stopped on her tracks which made me walked towards her, she said if I knew the person's name which I mentioned in my conversation and I shrugged my shoulders and told her it was a guy who I met the day I arrived here, and she said he was the number one hottest football player of this year's junior player who would be playing football game this semester after the welcome party.

And I tapped her shoulder lightly and reminded her that she needs to keep moving else we might end up getting more late; and we left for our individual classes which I arrived late for cause there was already a professor in class when I got there and I tried sneaking into the class even if I nearly got caught, but thanks to Selena who covered for me when I got into my seat I was spared from getting any form of punishment which I motioned to her that I owe her one and she smiled at me sweetly.

Later that day it was lunch time and I left for the cafeteria to Racquel who was already there like always and she asked me how was my class, which made me laugh and explained to her that I almost got into trouble for coming late when I remembered that I've not seen Selena after our last class before lunch; I scanned the place with my eyes for her but didn't find her anywhere which made me told Racquel that I would go order my lunch now and I left for the cafeteria line, when I saw Luke who asked me if I was okay now and I looked at him strangely.

Like I was never hurt in anywhere or anything like that some where did he got the notion I'm not fine; he made an effort to explain what he meant and I thought that was kinda not his fault cause I did left him halfway the other day without proper explanation, so I cleared my reasons for leaving to him which made him asked about my name and if he could see me maybe later or have lunch with me now and I asked him if it was like a date and he said kinda, I wanted to say yes but I had a scheduled talk with Wells today so I told him some other time while showing him Racquel who was waiting for me and I left to get my order.
