ALEXANDER
I strolled through the dimly lit passageway with Ivory still hung over my shoulder. I know her hands must be numb now from hitting my back relentlessly, hits that felt like where I'm being tapped with feathers.
I stopped abruptly and gently put her down. She swayed a little but I caught her arm before she could fall. She forced her arm away from me and gave me a harsh glare, making my lips to lift in an amused smile.
As I watched her with an amused gaze, I couldn't help but be captivated by her tenacious and feisty nature. There was something about the way she moved that drew me in, like she was dancing through life with effortless ease. She exuded confidence and poise, and it was impossible to look away.
I had never met anyone quite like her before, not even Nicole. She was a mystery, a puzzle that I was determined to solve. With every interaction, I found myself growing more intrigued by her. She was intelligent and quick-witted, always one step ahead in every conversation we had.
But it wasn't just her intellect that caught my attention. There was a kindness in her eyes that spoke volumes, a warmth that drew people to her like a magnet. She had a way of making everyone around her feel at ease, and it was clear that she was genuinely interested in getting to know each person she met.
There was a fire burning within her, a passion for life that was impossible to ignore. She was driven and ambitious, always pushing herself to be better, to do more. It was inspiring to witness, and I found myself drawn to her in ways I couldn't quite comprehend.
But above all else, it was her genuine nature that I found so captivating. She was unapologetically herself, and she didn't try to hide her flaws or imperfections. She embraced them, using them to propel herself forward and grow as a person.
I couldn't deny the pull she had on me. There was something about her that made me want to be a better person, to rise up to her level and be worthy of her company. She was a force to be reckoned with, and I couldn't help but feel lucky to have crossed paths with her.
And not to mention, her unearthly beauty that has the tendency to sweep a man off his feet. Her hazel eyes sparkled like the stars, her smile is as radiant as the sun, and her grace and elegance are captivating. She's an epitome of perfection and I'm going to make her mine. Forever.
The fact that she's my miracle, my salvation, makes me want to damn the consequences and give her the whole world, if I could.
When she passed out after knowing that I'm a mafia, I felt like punching myself over and over again for saying something that could ruin her. I was a frenzied mess when she didn't wake up for more than eight hours. My mind was going haywire, like, fuck, I just found her and no harm of any form should come her way.
Ivory clicked her fingers in front of my face before placing her hands on her waist. Those accentuating waist and hips, I just want to place my hands on them and feel its softness against my palms.
She gave me a puzzled look and shook her head, giving me a pathetic look. She wanted to walk away from me but I swiftly grabbed her by her left wrist and plunged her tightly against my chest, the passion within me igniting like a wildfire.
The air was thick with tension as I pressed her up against the brick wall, my hands possessively gripping her hips. She looked up into my intense gaze, her breath hitching and a look of anticipation flashed through her eyes.
My lips met her soft, luscious ones in a heated kiss, my tongue ravishing and exploring every corner of her mouth. She moaned softly as my hands roamed over her body, igniting every nerve ending with a fiery need.
Our bodies moved together in a frenzy of passion, the kiss growing deeper and more urgent with each passing moment. My hands trailed up her thighs, pushing up her skirt and causing her to gasp at the intimate contact.
Her hand caught my hand that was now slightly brushing her panties, she tugged it away from her skirt and brought it to her waist. She abruptly pulled away from the kiss, her chest heaving from the passionate kiss we just shared.
She blinked repeatedly at me and slightly pushed at my chest but I didn't even budge one bit.
"I don't know how you enchanted me but this is never happening again," she rasped out breathlessly and pushed at my chest. This time, I willingly distanced myself from her, giving her enough room to adjust herself. She gave me one last look before walking away from me, more like running away from me. I've really got my hands full with this one.
My lips curled up into a smile and I brought my hands to my lips, relinquishing her strawberry aftertaste in my mouth.
'You're mine, Ivory. I'm never letting you go, Angel.'
I felt a presence behind me and I turned to see the muscular figure of Jackson, my chief bodyguard, standing six feets away from me. I tilted my head a little to the side. He quickly gave a small bow before straightening back up.
I gave him a nudge with my head and gestured him to come closer. He took long strides towards me till he was standing just one feet away from me.
I gently placed my palm on his shoulder and gave him a pointed look. " How long have you been standing there Jackson?"
"I just got here now. I actually saw Mrs Ivory leaving here on my way to you." His tone was sharp and clear. I nodded and turned away from him to face the wall, trying to keep the memories of my kiss with Ivory off my mind.
"We caught the assassin, boss." My head immediately whipped towards him, giving him my sheer attention. "He's at the dungeon now."
My lips curled up into a wicked smile and my eyes glinted maliciously. "Well, well, take me to him then." He nodded and walked away with me in tow. Time to have some fun.
Shall we?
