In One Piece As A Pirate
Chapter: 8
When Rood was answering the. old man's questions, the old man's son already had the news that some people were here to beat his father. So he threw off his work and came to the shipyard.
When he saw that his father was still okay, he sighed in relief.
"Hello, everyone. Please don't take my father's speech to heart. He is old and likes to ask many questions." The old man's son express his feeling to everyone.
"Don't worry, we can understand, Room replied with a fake smile. Rood looked at the person in front of him, who looked like a fighter, but he didn't feel any threat from that guy. It means only two things: one, he is a spy who can hide like a normal person. Two, he has done a lot of hard work since childhood, so he has those muscles.
"Hello, my name is Worg. I am the owner of this shipyard. Tell me what I can do for you. Although I don't regard myself as a perfect shipbuilder, I can assure you that I will try my best." Worg introduced himself to those people.
"I am Rood. This is my friend, Duke. Those two are my partners, Mokume and K.Kish." Rood also introduced them as polite gentlemen.
"We are here to build a ship. A ship that is fast enough to run away from pirates and strong enough to sail through the storm. It cut water like a knife, cutting butter on its way." Rood tells him every detail of the ship he wants.
Rood also wants to inform everyone that he is a pirate. But not now; he wants to take his time and recruit other important members that a pirate group needs.
"Your requirements are very high. But if you want me to do my best to build a ship like your fantasy, you need to pay more. I hope you understand." Worg should look at Rood and try to understand how much money he can earn from him.
"Money isn't a problem. I can give you 20 million bellies tonight right here. I will give you whatever you ask after you build the ship." "But the condition is that the ship needs to reach 80% of my fantasy ship. Only then will you get the money."
"Okay, I will wait for you in my office." Worg replied without hesitation.
He didn't expect Rood to give so much money before they even started to build the ship. How much will he give us if we build his fantasy ship?
As for the 80% similarities with the Roods fantasy, all I can do is try the best I can.
"Wait a minute, which color do you want me to paint it?" Worg suddenly remembered something and asked Rood, who was already at the gate of the shipyard.
"You will get all the answers tonight," Rood replied without looking back.
Worg looks back at his dad, who is sitting on a chair.
"What do you think? Who are those people?" Worg asks his dad.
"Hah, hah, hah, just some rookies." The old man couldn't control his laugh while replying to his son.
If Rood was here or Rood was already strong enough to use Haki, he could have felt the horror of this old man.
After Rood and his crew walked for about an hour on an unknown road without even a little word, they reached a bar. They went in without any commotion. Rood asked for 4 bottles of rum.
"What do you think of that Worg guy?" Rood asked while drinking.
"I think he has had some training since childhood." Duke presents his opinion.
"I didn't think much, but that old man was something. How can a person ask so many questions.?" Mokume expressed his different opinions.
"I don't know what kind of ship they will make." K. Kish opinion is also out of place.
This time, Rood understood that his crew would be seriously dead if he didn't get this body. Rood drunk all the rum in one go and looked at everyone.
"So what's the color we should pick?" Rood asked everyone's opinion.
"Our pirate flag is black. I think the ship should also be black." K. Kish thought about it and replied without thinking about the other two.
Mokume and Duke didn't think much and agreed with K. Kish.
"All right, let's go back to the base." Rood stood up and went to the waitress, who was serving rum to everyone. After paying the bill, walk out of the bar.
After coming to their base, they took some rest and waited for lunch.
Mokume already bought everything on the first day. Rood looked around and found that Zamp and Hazel were fighting. One with a light hammer (Hazel), the other with his fist.
Gunners only training now is to learn dodging skills. If they practice guns, it will attract the kingdom's soldiers.
Beckett is very good at fists and legs. From the day he heard about the six styles. He started to work like a crazy man. He is now trying a different training method. Stand on his two fists. Bend down a little bit and try to jump. (Exactly how people jump with their legs.)
Lucky and Gable are now fighting with each other. It's their daily work—nothing new.
The only thing I think is out of place is me. Rood stood up and went a little deeper into the forest for his exercise. Rood has been training since the day he came to this world. He also fights a lot of pirates. Although those pirates aren't that strong. Still, it helps his crew members hone their basic fighting skills.
Rood stood up with his Sabre. And slash the tree in front of him. He couldn't cut the tree, but an inch-deep mark appeared. "Not enough; let's practice the basics." Rood started his daily training again.
On the other side, Duke called all nine crew members and started his nine vs. one fight. Although Rood shared his little knowledge about six styles, Duke knows very well that his body isn't strong enough to learn. Without instructions from a teacher, you can't just practice something blindly.
So, Duke didn't start his practice in that direction. In six styles, one of the most important points he got was control. If he has a strong body and you can control every part, then you can turn them into a weapon.
As for Mokume and K. Kish, Rood already told them about six styles.
Cooper and Oscar, two of them, choose swords. First, they just blindly attack the opponent. After one month, the flaw in their attack has decreased a lot.
Hugh and Harlow—two of them choose daggers. Dagger can only fight in close combat. But if you can accurately throw it to the target, it also has a plus point. If you learn to slash like a swordsman, it's also a good thing.
Just like that, they practice until lunch time. After lunch, Rood takes five brothers to the gun factory. Duke, Mokume, and K. Kish are on the watch.
Sometimes later, they came to an old-looking factory. There weren't many people in this factory.
When Rood and the five brothers came to the person in charge, he said, "Please come back later. There is a little problem, so our boss went out and fixed it. It will take 1 month."
There is nothing Rood can do here. So, he didn't waste any time and sent the five brothers to the base camp.
Right now, Rood is looking for a shop where he can buy some good-quality swords.
