In the next morning, Daniel woke up before kai and even before his mom came to wake them up for school and stayed in bed.

-Daniel: "I can't believe I'm dating her now, it feels like an illusion"
He was thinking to himself loudly till he got a notification on his phone.
[Hirai set your nickname to: baby boy]
"huh!? We really are dating"
Daniel laughed at the nickname mina gave him in their messages.
And because he opened the notification mina noticed that he left her on read.
[Mina: oh you're here? Goodmorning honey]
[Daniel: yea sorry for leaving you on read]
[Mina: it's okay.. knowing you, you must've been blushing and processing what happened haha]
[Daniel: haha true!]
[Mina: see you later!]
Daniel put his phone down and looked at kai who was sleeping next to him on the same bed. He wiped his hand on kai's cheek softly,
In these moments, shiley knocked on the room's door.
-shiley: "boys wake up it's school time, breakfast's ready"
-daniel: "we're coming.."
He said kinda loud so shiley can know that they're awake then got out of bed and kicked kai.
"Kai wake up, wake up we'll be late"
-kai: "aight.. just give me 5minutes"
-daniel: "No!! Get up"
Kai sat up with an annoyed expression on his face.
-kai: "ey what are you in a hurry for?? You didn't want to go to school yesterday"
-daniel: "a new day a new mindset, get up"
-kai: "yes a new mindset.. like when a girl asks a boy out??"
Daniel ignored what kai said,
He was happy and didn't want anything to ruin his mood. He then got kai's shirt from the floor and threw it at his face.
-daniel: "put it on and come out"

Once they got to school, mina saw them.
She walked to daniel and took his hand.
-mina: "hi danny, let's head to the classroom together"
-daniel: "is it okay to do this here?"
Daniel seemed a bit nervous and unfamiliar with all this.. But he was happy.
-mina: "of course!!"
-kai: "you should've known this before doing him dirty like that"
-daniel: "kai it's alright"
-mina: "I'm sorry kai.. but I won't hurt him again, i promise"
-kai: "you better don't"
Kai was looking at her with hateful eyes.. whenever he sees her he remembers how Daniel was all depressed and suffering in the past few days, but what can he do about it?
Daniel seems to be happy now.
In these moments anya approached them from the back.
-anya: "goodmorning"
As soon as he heard her voice, kai turned around.
-kai: "Anya!!.. huh? anya what's with these sunglasses? You look funny"
-anya: "fashion honey"
-daniel: "pffft no take them off"
-anya: "no"
-kai: "come on stop acting weird"
Kai jokingly took the glasses off of her face, But what he saw shocked him And his face suddenly paled.
"huh?? What's this bruise in your left eye?"
Anya quickly covered her eye with one hand and extended the other to him.
-anya: "give me the glasses back or this won't end good kai!"
-kai: "alright.. but you're coming with me"
He made her wear the glasses on then held her hand dragging her behind.
-mina: "is she okay?"
-daniel: "I hope.."

Kai took anya to the building's roof to talk.
-kai: "we're alone now take them off"
Anya wore the glasses off slowly and looked down.
-anya: "don't laugh"
-kai: "this is not the time for your jokes,
I'm.. I'm so pissed right now!! Why didn't you tell me?"
-anya: "there was a lot going on with you and daniel, I didn't want to make you worry..
I'm fine it's nothing"
-kai: "NOTHING!? You think it's nothing because you are used to it, we're going to tell Matthew about it and he'll help you report"
-anya: "NO! my family is all I have and I don't wanna be the reason they fall apart.. and my mom's nice with my little sister nia, I cannot take mom away from her just because she's not good with me! She needs her.."
-kai: "then you pack your things and come live with me.."
-anya: "my mom won't allow me"
-kai: "GOD STOP THINKING ABOUT HER AND WHAT SHE'D THINK!! SHE LOST HER RIGHT TO GUIDE YOU DOING YOU LIKE THIS!"
-anya: "okay I'll think about it now let's get going please"

After delivering anya to the class
Kai went to Matthew's office,
He stood up outside the door for a moment then knocked.
-matthew: "come in"
-kai: "goodmorning sir"
-matthew: "goodmorning kai. Do you need something? have a seat"
-kai: "sir, can you tell the teachers to not make anya take off her glasses? That will embarrass her, she's having some issues"
-matthew: "sure but.. I saw her this morning, these were sunglasses what kind of issues she is having?"
-kai: "domestic violence sir,"
-matthew: "if that's so I will have to report it"
-kai: "If you do so she will deny it.. so don't,
Thank you for your help"
Kai took Matthew's permission then left the office.
(-matthew: "even anya.. everyone has something going on, no one has a perfect life after all")

After school, they all were walking back home together as they used to do back in the day.
-anya: "phew I'm glad no one has asked me to take off my glasses.. That's it guys! We're parting ways here"
Kai bowed down to her and whispered to her ear while patting her head.
-kai: ".. stay safe annie, don't leave your room unnecessarily, and call me if anything happens"
She kissed him on the cheek as she replied
-anya: "I'll be fine.."
-mina: "bye anya take care of yourself!"
Anya totally ignored mina and only paid attention to Daniel.
-anya: "bye daniel,"
As anya left, kai was walking ahead of the other two with his hands in his pockets.. and a few moments later he got to his home as well leaving them all alone.

-mina: "didn't you notice that I'm coming with you?"
-daniel: "a-ah I did.."

The two of them got to the neighborhood where daniel lives,
They said hello to everyone outside then went inside and of course daniel got teased by everyone for being with mina.

-daniel: "I'm sorry if they annoyed you.. they meant me not you"
-mina: "it's fine, I'd not be mad even if they meant me with their jokes.. yall are like a family, i love that"
She kept watching old men playing chess through the window and smiling.
-daniel: "I'm glad you do!"
-mina: "should we go on a date tomorrow?"
-daniel: "d- date?? But we have school"
-mina: "after it's done, I also want to get some gifts for kai and anya.."
-daniel: "why though?"
-mina: "I want them to forgive me..
I want them to stop avoiding you whenever they see you with me"
-daniel: "no need for the gifts, I'll talk to them about it"
-mina: "no it was all my fault so let me fix it my way.. babe"
His eyes widened as he blushed intensely.
-daniel: "y-yea aight okay, I'll be back in a sec"
He left to the bathroom in a rush to wash his face because all the heat he was feeling on his cheeks bothered him.
-mina: "come on Daniel! It was just "babe"! (GOD! HE IS SO SWEET)"

Few hours later, Daniel was done making dinner. While He was taking the plate out of the oven, he lifted his head up and looked at mina.
-daniel: "mina, I think luna is on the door can you open it for her?"
-mina: "sure!"
Mina opened the door, and was surprised that it was actually luna on the door. She excitedly carried her and took her inside.
"IT'S HER! how did you know!?"
-daniel: "I heard her scribbling on the door"
-mina: "I seeeeeee"
-daniel: "I'm gonna wash my hands then serve dinner"
-mina: "I'll do it! You rest"
Mina placed her both hands on his chest and made him sit on one of the seats.
-daniel: "alright- t-he pots are in that wall cabinet."
-mina: "okay baby!"
He covered his face with his left hand while putting the other on his lap.
-daniel: "y-you're embarrassing me mina"
Mina was facing the kitchen's counter while talking to him.
-mina: "don't be embarrassed!! You're in your house I'm the one clinging. I hope I'm not bothering you.."
-daniel: "n-no don't you ever think that way..
I told you before, you fill empty evenings void"
-mina: ".. and you fill up my whole life, even when you're not around.. getting to know you alone is a bless, having you as my boyfriend and serving dinner for you feel so unreal, your smile warms my heart, Your scent makes me want to get lost in your arms, when you react like that you make me feel alive, loved and wanted.. so please do not change"
He crossed his arms and buried his face in them on the table.
(-daniel: "what am I doing? I think I should go hug her or something?")
Daniel stood up and approached mina with slow steps she couldn't feel and hugged her from the back.
-mina: "huh? Daniel?"
-daniel: "I'm sorry I didn't know what to say or do.. but I felt like.."
She turned around and hugged him back.
-mina: "it's alright"
He then wrapped his arms around her waist tightly and rested his head on her shoulder.
-daniel: "mina.."
Mina closed her eyes and run her fingers through his hair softly..
She could feel his hot breath down her neck.
Daniel then pulled back slowly and scratched the back of his neck nervously.
-daniel: "I'm sorry, let's eat"
